Näver Small Shoulder Bag in Multi Leather

The work of architect and designer Cecilia Eduards is inspired by Swedish nature and traditional Nordic craft and building techniques. The Näver Collection is her contemporary interpretation of the traditional birch bark braiding method used for centuries in Scandinavia.

The Leather Archive Project is a limited edition of Eduards Accessories signature Näver collection. All items are made out of high quality leather from the material archives of Nordic Leather, a local Swedish producer of leather accessories. The collaboration with RISE Sustainable Business (Research Institutes of Sweden) and Nordic Leather has provided Eduards Accessories access to a treasure chest of fine materials to which their small scale production is the key.

The Näver Small Shoulder Bag is a cross body shoulder bag with one interior compartment that closes with a top zipper and a small inner pocket. All lining and the inner pocket is made out of leather. The adjustable shoulder strap has two alternative lengths, approximately 39.4 in & 47.2 in (100 cm & 120 cm), for cross-body or shoulder carrying. Measures 10.6x7.5x2.4 in (27x19x6 cm) and comes with a high-quality dust bag.

Leather & Care

Leather is a material that tells a story. Marks and color variations are natural and regarded as proof of authenticity, not as flaws. Small variations due to the handmade process guarantee that each and every item is unique. Rain and moisture can darken and change the structure of the leather, whereas sunlight can affect the color of your bag. If you want your bag to age naturally, just leave it untreated. If you prefer to make your bag more resistant against the elements, we recommend organic leather treatment. Always start by treating a tiny area and see if you like the result before you treat the whole bag. Treat it well, and it will accompany you for years.

We love the qualities of vegetable tanned leather and all our products are left untreated for you to wear in. Multi is a high-quality vegetable tanned leather that is not as affected by sunlight and moisture as undyed leather.
