Näver Wallet in Natural Leather

The work of architect and designer Cecilia Eduards is inspired by Swedish nature and traditional Nordic craft and building techniques. The Näver Collection is her contemporary interpretation of the traditional birch bark braiding method used for centuries in Scandinavia.

Details

The Näver Wallet has the characteristic Näver braided front and plain back. Closes with a top-zipper, has two open compartments and an inner pocket that closes with a zipper. All lining and inner pocket is made out of leather. Measures 6.5x4.33 in (16.5x11 cm.)

Leather & Care

Leather is a material that tells a story. Marks and color variations are natural and regarded as proof of authenticity, not as flaws. Small variations due to the handmade process guarantee that each and every item is unique. Rain and moisture can darken and change the structure of the leather, whereas sunlight can affect the color of your wallet. If you want your wallet to age naturally, just leave it untreated. If you prefer to make your wallet more resistant against the elements, we recommend organic leather treatment. Always start by treating a tiny area and see if you like the result before you treat the whole wallet. Treat it well, and it will accompany you for years.

We love the qualities of vegetable tanned leather and all our products are left untreated for you to wear in. Natural leather has great potential; it ages with beauty and will darken with time. You can affect the aging process by treating the leather with products for protection and nourishment.
